After more than Thirty Years of Club, Theater, Tour, and Session work, BMI Songwriter and Recording Artist Jimmy Dee has performed and worked with a multitude of Artists. From John Cowsill, Cindy Coe, Chante, Sly Stone, Jerry Reed, Don Robertson, Paul "Ace" Frehley, Rick Springfield, Trini Lopez, Nicky Shane to John Durrill. All have inspired, influenced, and  mentored him on his Musical Journey!

Coming from a music family his father a swing band drummer from the forties, and mother an amateur singer he was immersed in an eclectic genre of music. At the early age of four his parents discovered his ability to play melody lines from television shows and bought him his first acoustic guitar.

His professional career began in Las Vegas in 1979 playing small clubs and venues and was signed with a local talent agent. After several years as a local performer he embarked on his first European tour and traveled extensively culminating with a performance for Olav V King of Norway, before deciding to move back to Los Angeles in 1984. There he started honing his skills as a session player, writer and recording artist. Working with numerous Producers such as Allen Douglas and David Foster he started to develop a strong hook driven acoustic guitar style.

Now after a brief hiatus he's back producing New Artists and in the studio working and writing with one of this countries most prolific songwriters John Durrill... John Durrill a Member of the "Rock & Roll Hall of Fame" founded the 60's Band "The Five Americans" then went on to write and tour with "The Ventures"... Still writing and recording He's written for the likes of Chicago, Cher, Merle Haggard, Clint Eastwood and had songs covered by artist like Reba McEntire to Smash Mouth...
